Plans for my soon to be DC2, what to do?
Sup guys, I haven't posted here in like months, err never really did in the first place. Heres my story. Im a 15 year old in highschool and pretty soon it'll be time for me to start driving. Ill be getting a hand me down of my dream car from my brother. A DC2. Ive got big plans for this car, and have actually been thinking about it since the 7th grade. My question to you guys is what should i do?
I want to get out of my car:
-some speed, just a little extra zip down the streets, if I just wanted to go fast i wouldn't do it in an integra. Maybe ill eventually turbo it.
-looks, im looking for mainly a ''clean & mean'' type of look, ya know shaved emblems, gutted interior, no stickers, ect.
-handling, gotta have ankles.
Being a highschool student im not going to be making a lot of money, but thats ok 'cause this is going to be more of a long term thing but I still want it to be fresh cause your only in highschool once right. Right now the car is pretty much stock. So what should some of my first mods be, and what money wasting mods should i keep away from? Also what can I do to the car the doesn't cost anything, like a gutted interior.

Ok first off....IMO don't gut the interior if its a Daily driver. It's pointless in my mind.
2nd Its a gsr so you should have a fair amount of power already. It's enough for me, being 16 and still learning how to effectively drive a stick (performance wise).
Throw on an intake for ***** and giggles. (Throttle response and sound...not a very noticable change in power). And work with suspension. Then get some rims.
Of course it all comes down to whats importnat to you. I know for me, being in HS, rims and susp. were a must right off the bat. Now that i got those taken care of, i'm saving up to go turbo. I figure by the time i have the dough, i'll be ready for the added power.

And what should i do appearance wise. Its a '94 2door in Milano red? I don't really want to spend the $$$ to get an JDM style front, nor do i want the spend the $$ to convert to '98 + front lip, what should I do? I was thinking a full bomex kit but its a lil ricey for my style. If only it was a 98 life would be a lot simpler lol. Maybe one of the RS series from wings west, maybe. Any suggestions?
Why wouldn't I gut the interior? Its saves a teeny bit of weight, and more importantly, it prevents more from coming in, plus it looks cool, and 16 year olds with passengers in general isn't the brightest idea anyway so HA, im gutting out my interior. just playin man.
but anyways when i strip the interior, on the floor is it going to be milano red just like the outside of the car, or bare metal, or what?

its already a very nice car. just get an intake. they sound great and give you a little more power. That car is plenty fast. Ecspecially for a driver just starting out.
it actually alread has a CAI, just its an ugly blue one on a red car, ewww. Maybe i'll spraypaint it black or something.
BTW, you know that one CF front lip that most ppl put on their JDM front tegs thats cf, i thinks its made by spoon, doesn't that fit the '94 us integ or do they make one for the ol 4 eyed teg. For some reason i think I remember seeing it on a '94, didn't the dude with the RHD teg on the MTV have something like that, i think his name was greg something???? Does anyone have a quick pic of the front of this dudes car?

oh yea . first mod i did to my old 94 teg back in the day was get a set of coilovers . i didnt bother messuring how high i wanted them , jus put them as low as they can go and you will be happy
dont lower the rear all the way though , leave like 4 threads so the back is a tiny bit higher then the front .
i had my car like that for the first year and everybody said it looked nice . that was the only damn thing i had done to the car !

Why spend money on an intake when u already have one? IMO i wouldnt gut the interior, i mean i understand you said u dont wanna give anybodya ride, but just tell them NO! The first thing i would do is work on suspension, dont get any cheap *** coilovers because you'll regret it, i know i did.
Just get an ITR lip from Wings West / Comptech for appearance for now.
Why tf are you gutting the interior? Maybe i'm just being a girl but I'm really **** about road noise and rattles and **** like that. And I have a full interior. Seriously, if you gut your insides the car's gonna be loud as *****. This also doesn't makes sense when combined with the fact that you want the car to look nice from the outside...so you want it to look real fresh but look like a homeless shelter on the inside?
*confused*
No disrespect, just doesn't make sense to me.
Oh yeah, and drive smart and keep a couple hundred on the side ALWAYS in case something breaks. You don't wanna have JUST spent your whole savings on coilovers and then your radiator cracks all to hell. I bet that lowered car will look real nice while steam is comin out your hood. That's no fun

you have lots of plans but no fund backing.
enjoy the car as it is until you figure out what you want.
Its cute when a 15 year old talks about long term things

the cheapest true coil-over system would probley be the tein basic. but for the money you would spend on that $650 roughly. i would get koni yellows and a set of custom rated GC's $750 roughly. that way you could lower and raise the car, and be able to ful with your suspension settings.
also DO NOT GUT YOUR INTERIOR. you will hear every little rock that boucnes in to you car, road noise will be ungodly. and gutted interiors look like crap, unless in a race car
