I'm not going to tell you how to do it, but I will tell you they are a total waste of money. Take it back. If you don't have the cash for some sort of wideband data logging system, then you need to tune your car the old fashioned way. Spark plugs never lie.

Well seeing as how I got it and 2 other gauges off my friend for a really cheap price there is no point to getting rid of it. I wouldnt go out and buy one brand new especially since my engine is completly stock and I have absolutely no intentions of modifying it since it will never be a fast car. But thanks for being a prik and saying you wont tell me how

Ya its a great reliable car that is quick and fun to drive. It is by no means a rocket and I hate people that think they are the fastest things ever. Anyways I did search the forum for this topic and didnt come up with anything that would help

that weird - i searched and on the very first thread i looked at i found this -
Red wire to ignition with 5 amp in line fuse.

If it is the Cobalt face and it has a white wire, that splices into a 12v dash lighting source. like the radio illumination wire.

Black wire needs to go to a good ground.

And Violet wire splices into your o2 signal between the o2 connector, and the ECU.

Regardless of the reason for the install, you came here to ask a simple, legitimate question, and since no one could be useful and answer it, I will.

Apex-i wiring Instructions

If you go there, you'll see some wiring diagrams that have the pin for the O2 sensor. You will need Abode to open that page as it is in .pdf format.

Apparently you didn't understand his question, but you tried to help.

He wanted to know what wire the on the ECU the signal wire went to for the a/f gauge.

Im not talking down about my car. All I simply said was it isnt and wont ever be a rocket. I didnt know that by saying it isnt a rocket I was talking down about my car. Ya there may be 9 sec integras but they cost about 30k to build one that can go that fast and never be streetable. And im not modding my car out I put in some gauges and I have H&R sports which last time I checked didnt do anything performance for me so you may wanna think about that.

For anyone else who needs to hook one of these gauges up in the future the apexi site on this thread tells you the exact O2 wire to probe, and I just got done hooking mine up and it works great
