Anyone unbolted their stock seat and somehow moved it back? My legs are long.
I was curious if anyone has done this. I'm 6'1" but my legs are really long, so having the seat back all the way is not quite sufficient. Is there a way to alter the rails or is there something i could buy to do this. My knees are starting to hurt. I really would like to keep the stock seats.
thanks

I know this isn't quite the answer to your question, but have you considered adjusting your driving style? I am also 6.1, and I sit with the seat about halfway forward for daily driving and even more forward for competition. Having the seat all the way back for me would be a joke.
The only other option I could think of for you would be a set of custom rails/sliders for the OEM seat. That way you could swap them back out if you ever needed to. Or, you could get a different seat and see where you needed to have that one adjusted.
LOL, your legs must come up to my chest

Kelly aka "The Tall 455 Honkay" is almost 6'6. He just sits in the back seat - juju
But seriously, he has his seat all the way back w/ the seat reclined about 6 clicks back.
yoshi - who fits nicely in #234

I am 6'2". I have the seats all the way back and sit as upright as I can. Legs don't get in the way but my head bumps the roof on occasion. With a helmet, my head is basically 5-10 cm from the roof
