all the 600s are gorgeous, especially the 03s and 04s.
I LOVE the rr, but i'm probably getting a zx-6r (only cuz i'm gettin on helluva deal). I'm really lookin for a nice r6, but i just can't afford droppin like 6k on a bike right now.

Not that Power Means everything, But At a Local Dyno day I was at, There were two CBR600RR's (one with Slip on and another one stock) and there was Two 2003 Zx6r's, The One CBR600RR with slip on made 105whp the stock one made 103whp and My Zx6R made 107.7whp and the other made 106whp, The differnce does not seem like much, But it would make more so of a differnce when you consider the weight also!
But I do Think the CBR600RR is a Sweet Bike, and Actually Was going to get one, Untill I did more research!

I think you should get what you REALLY want. Most of today's major 600s are equal high perfomance machines. It's comes down to preference and what you look for in a bike (radial brakes, center-up exhaust, comfort, etc). It would be a dream if we can mix and match features from one make to another, but unfortunately, this is what differs them. The ZX6-R often gets overlooked because alot of people don't have a taste for Kawi's, but this bike is one of the best 600's out there.
I've ridden the '03 600RR, '03 R6, and '01 GSXR-600. The 600RR and R6 handle equally well, but it was the little stupid stuff like center-up exhaust, gauge layout, and aggressive race ergos that pointed me to the 600RR. If the '05 R6 were out today, it would have definately made the two tougher to cho0se from.

I like mine, true it is heavy and as rainman posted the zx6r has slight power advantage, but are you really concerned with HP that much?I guess if you are going to become liek a hardcore racer but, other then that i doubt you'd ever notice that 1-2 hp if you are just riding for enjoyment. My biggest complaint about my RR is the comfort i dont really like the seat, but you can always change that.
PS Rainman(eric) the ZX6R was my first choice until i did research!

Straight line you're not going to notice much of a difference. I think the couple extra lbs and centered massed help make it very stable in turns. I have yet to ride the new gixxer6, but out of the 636 and r6 the 600rr felt the best to me and thats why I picked it. I hate the seat too for long rides but it really is great for track and twisties. The seat is a little wider than others so if you're short it might be a problem.
The bike provides a good amount of feedback to make you a confident rider.
I would say it's alot easier to ride hard than most bikes out right now. It's stable in the corners and very nimble. Although it has a weight increase, most of it has been centralized towards the cg of the bike.
I've ridden an F4i and in my opinion, I feel the 600RR is alot easier to ride at the limits.
I haven't had a chance to ride a new GSXR600 or a 636 or R6 so I could not tell you my experience from those.
