Default HASBORO RIPPED ME OFF !!!

this guy ripped me off

i made a thread of some stuff i wanted to buy, one of these things was some suspension hardware(bumpstops, washers, spring caps, nuts, etc.).

so hasboro tells me he will sell me this stuff for $40, because he bought a fully assembled suspension set-up. he says he will install his once he gets a chance and then take apart his stock stuff to send me the hardware.

i am cool, just let me know when you get your stuff installed.

this guy gives me the same story for the next 3 MONTHS.

he tells me my car is in the shop, i haven't had time, i'll install it today
nothing but bullshit excuses

so i start to tell him i am getting a little pissed off and he needs to hurry the hell up or send me my money back.

now he won't respond to any emails or instant messages

on me for trusting someone

Hasboro you can redeem yourself by sending me my $40 back

i know $40 is not alot of cash but it is to a poor full-time student

I wasn't going to say anything before until others started popping up with similar instances. From this, as well as my "near" transaction with Hasboro I can only say he's not one of the better business oriented individuals. At least not until he proves otherwise with others. It's too late to make another impression on me.

https://honda-tech.com/zerothread?id=813683

He contacted me in regards to what I was in search for, after finally getting some concrete information about when to meet up, I took the 2.5 hour drive to pick up the wheel from him. He was well aware what time I would be coming the next day as we had arranged. 15 minutes away from his home I decided to give him a call and let him know I would be about 5-10 minutes out of the scheduled 7-7:30 time frame and he tells me he doesn't have his other wheels yet and is waiting to hear something back about them so I can get the one I was driving to purchase. I told him I would find a friend's to hang out at for awhile, then to give me a call later that night so I could pick up the wheel. So I was forced to waste my time and gas money driving 5 hours (roundtrip) to be told something I could have been made aware of over the phone or through IM. He didn't bother contacting me again to apologize or anything, until I messaged him again to make arrangements again and request a lower price for my own wasted expenses. After doing so he did well to disappear postless as well as responseless for the next week. When he could have manned up and done something to rectify the situation. Basically, he needs to practice better business.

Seems that all three incidents where problems occur are from people outside of Fort Worth.

what a coincidence.....He had some H&R springs for sale that he claimed were for an integra.....I was like "cool" and he was local so I met up with him in the arlington area and everything went pretty smooth....About three weeks later I go to put the springs on my car and when its done the front is super SLAMMED! the back was probably 3 higher than the front...im like WTF! So I call H&R to verify what car these springs are for and they tell SOHC 92-98.....I was soooo pissed...I im'ed telling him I want my money back and sure enough he doesn't respond what so ever.......

Don't deal with this guy....even if he's local and he's willing to meet up with you....The part he's probably selling is not even functional!!!!!
