Maintence required blinking- how do i find the problem?

Hello,

I m new to this...

My 2002 (auto) Civi EX, when i started up the motor, it blinked "maintence required" for like one minute then it stopped...

what is it ?

i couldnt find any problem.. i checked oil, radiatior antifreeze and everything is good as good level.

What color of fluid for transmission ? i couldnt tell any different...its like redish-rusty color.

It drive like a new..

that just means your due for an oil change. u reset the light buy pressing the select reset button then turn the key to accessorie then keep holding it until it goes off

Big whew...yeah its been a while since changed oil cuz the oil look still new to me!!

How many mileage to change oil? 3K ? 5K?
