b20 question

Default b20 question

so how much can you really rev a b20 upto? i'm hearing 8500k MAX. (only do once in a while when i catch a race) and im hearing 7700k MAX.? this is with a pretty much fully done gsr head with proper valve train, etc. stock b20 bottom end. my peak hp is at 8200k!! thanks.

i wouldn't rev it past 7000-7500. The rods aren't beefy enough and you don't have the crank girdle. Do that then you can rev it high. Remember high RPM's Ruins Peoples Motors!
