Default G-force RWD transmission for honda

check it out, im thinking about sticking a B series into my ae86, but i couldnt find a rwd tranny for it. until now. what do you think? the tranny is reverse rotation so it works with B series engine. has anybody actualy used a B series with a front engine RWD set up?

Okay you guys do know you can't downshift with the tranny right. You have to all the way through the gears pull the lockout lever back and put it back into first gear. This tranny is designed for drag racing.

I was just making sure. AE86 with a B series interesting. Seen some with a S2000 engine though should be fun.

yeh, i "thinking" about the B series because its lay out is better then the standard 4ag engine. the exhaust ports on those engines are rediculously small and but the intake port is really huge. i guess i can go with a s2000 f20 or a rotary but. i wanted to try something new. but still undicided. thanks

Good luck and have fun with your project. Wow finally a AE86 guy who isn't into road racing or jumped on the Drift Band Wagon.

hey me and my bro (BOOST DEPENDENT) crew cheif for PARADISE Racing. just contact LUIS and he'll give you a hella price on the tranny.

also... why don't you just drop a 3TC in there and be even faster than the B series.
even though they are 8valve they can be built to run mid 7's

good luck with your project regardless of what motor you're gonna run

prolly be better off getting a s2000 engine or sr20det or smashing in a v8 or smoething. b series would def be different but not very practical

i think HOT ROD class would really be off the hook if they were that cheap. but i guess for now we don't need anymore rule changes. lets try to keep that to a minimum...well at least for the rest of the season....lol

No Atco...too many Rotory's gonna be there....my ears cant be replaced. Besides the retards at NHRA wont let me run....hell I'd run an extra 100-200 #'s with the DART block if they wanted another racer to add to the handful they have now...lol

thats fucked up and ridiculous they should allow the dart blocks. i mean they allow after market trannies... and pluss they are RACE CARS who cars what motor... well i'm sure no one wants to be competing against a lmp600 motor tho hehehe.... but seriously the dart block??? its so close to beeing an oem piece.

A rwd AE86 b-series powered drag car would be cool. Don't seen really any 86's at the drag strip.

Really cool idea, good luck mang

drifting is 100x better than drag racing.. that is real driver skill... and sometimes they do it with one hand!

One thing to keep in mind I would probably go with a toyota motor of some sort. The reason why is most series if you are going to run any series don't allow you to use a motor from a different manufacturer.
