Default slimmer profile autozone fan?

hey guys... i once read somewhere that a guy put a fan (probably not for an integra) that he bought from autoszone that had a much thinner profile. this fan bolts on with the stock hardware (duno what mods would be needed). anyone know or possibly have a part number?

thx.

kham.

i dont know the part number because you really dont need it. They are universal fans that fit on 99.99% of cars. i had 2 of them in my car set up as pusher fans when i was turbo. Stock fans are set up as pullers. They dont bolt up to your car like stock but they do come with hardware to work with any car radiator. They are about 40-70 bucks each depending of the size you get.

Thanks Cramerox.... When you say puller and pusher.. did you mount your new fans foward of the radiator to get he same direction of flow? I guess if you have an intercooler this wouldn't work so well. Anyhow, you recall what fans you used?

Thanks again!

Yes i mounted my fans in front oh my radiator and they pushed air through the radiator. I did this because the turbo would hit my stock fans. With after market fans, you can revers the polarity to make the blades spin the other way, OR you can ramove the fan and flip it around....creating a sucking or pushing effect.
Sorry i dont remember what fans i used. ..its been a while
