Default Slicks: 15X10 is this a good size?

I found a guy near my house selling some used circle track slicks for cheap. He says the tires are 15"X10" and about 4" tall. Would these be good to try out? My car is just a GSR with I/H/E.....I dont really need the slicks but what the hell they are super cheap should I give them a shot or just pass?? Any help would be appreciated.....

Isn't that what this post was about?
Buying slicks right?
