DH-Racing Crank Pulley Fitment
I just got my DH-Racing crank pulley after waiting a month from those guys, and man, it's waaaay smaller than the stock GSR crank pulley that I have. Is it supposed to be that small, and if it is, what timing belt am I supposed to use?
oh yeah, and it has no slots for the key ways. Is the pressure from the crank pulley bolt enough to keep it on? or is it a snug fit or something?
TIA

You dont change the timming belt you use i believe a 26 inch alt belt. Yes it is suppose to be that small. It is press fit and goes on very easy. You also should of gotten instructions with the pulley that describe all of this.
i finally got one of the DH-racing guys on the phone. Those guys there are really, really cool, but getting them to answer their phone or reply back with e-mails is a pain. So they pretty much said what you said about the pulley fitting on snug and they said that the belt will be anywhere from a 25"-27" belt, but I should measure it for the exact size. They were also telling me about a way to find TDC by removing sparkplug # 1 and doing some other things to find it.
Can someone explain to me the process in how to find TDC when the crank pulley doesn't have marks on them? Thanks

i have always used a long screwdriver in the #1 cylinder. you can see when the piston is in TDC as the screwdriver moves up and down. worked great everytime.
