Default Fun in Black ITR 231

Since theres a black single overhead cam Type R in my driveway, i figured i would give a driving impression.

#1. Bride Pro Seats= Non adjustable never felt sooo good. I am highly impressed with the comfort of these seats. I have driven this car alot, event to Florida, and i am very happy with them. They are not cloth, which i feel adds comfort. If you are looking foward to getting a non adjustable seat, i suggest these over the 10 others i have sat in.

#2. Ohlins PVC Coilovers= I love these, and might have to get a set down the road. 1st time i drove the car, which was down to Marcs in Feb, the rear was just way too soft, the "Gymkhana setup" as Kendall stated. It didnt make sence to me, but was still a great setup. Since then, Kendall has not only tightened up the rear, but went to work on the suspension, completely changing the feel of the whole car. Now, those 35mph on ramps and cloverleafs are a fun sight to see. The car is set up more than one can believe. I want to know the settings though, as i am very stunned with the feel. I will try to get some video up of the car doing some cornering, mild that is.

#3. Sohc in ITR= This is just funny. Pop the hood and watch peoples faces. That is priceless. Actually, i am very impressed. Never did a motor rev so fast. The car actually moves. Great daily driver with that setup. I still have my questions here and there, with no CELs, but hey, thats stunna for ya.

All in all, i thank Kendall for the chance to drive it. I will try to get some pics of it, CLEAN. A 1st for Honda-Tech.

Ben hits the nail on the head for driving profile for kendalls ITR. i've driven it for countless hours and trips, even with the CX motor inside, its not near as slow as one would think, but kendall needs to hurry up and get that K series swapped in it for more fun.
I'm looking forward to seeing you this sunday ben if im back in town from the beach, glad you and TJ could take time and come up here and hang out with us for the day, your welcome anytime at my place.

I sat in one of these in Miami about a year ago and determined that they were quite possibly the most comfortable and most supportive seats I've ever sat in.

Being that the Ohlins USA headquarters is about a mile down the road from our shop, I had to at least take their advice on a few things.

I'm seriously tempted to keep this engine, even after the K. Gas milage is great, and after the drivetrain upgrades, it's amazing to drive (ahhh, the beauty of a six pound flywheel). The turbo minime I had planned won't be happening. I was offered too much money for my Z6 head and Y8 manifold, and the only suitable turbo I can dig up at the moment is a T3 from an old Mustang and is entirely too big.

Thanks for the props Ben, I'm glad you're enjoying it. Your car is coming along nicely, and is cleaner now than it came from the factory.

Ben, you have got to post engine shots. It is SO funny. You see this bad *** R, with all the Japanese block off crap, these Bride seats, then you pop the hood and the old single cam is staring you right in the face. It says B18C5 on the block though Kendall's car Can't wait to see the K20A R in action
