i was wondeing how you would paint your stock rims to make it look like a black/gun-metal look....thankz

I was talking with a fella this weekend that paited his rims with black primer. no sanding or prep, just sprayed it on.

 

so, jus black primer, huh?? thanks ...o yea...where do i get the stuff for it?

 

any auto parts store should have it,
if you want real gunmetal paint call Dupont about it

 

I personally hate when people roll around with just there steel rims.
I would, if I drove my accord in the winter would just roll with the factory hub caps. Looks alot cleaner and sleeperish.

 

i've been itching to get to get a polished aluminum lip done to my TE-37s and the center painted a gunmetal... but it seems as though it's going to be a bit too pricey... unless anyone here has a painting hook-up here in the DC metro region...

 

I had my rims sanded and painted for 100 dollars i got thenm from a junk yard it came out real good especially for the money there painted an old honda color its code is LS009 you should check it out in a paint book theres alot of other cool colors too
