Default 2000 Prelude sh question?

Ok my gurl mother has a 2000 honda prelude sh and the check engine light and the atts light is on and i'm wondering if anyone know what the atts light means because she doesn't have the honda manual that tells what the light means.

What a coincidence, my mother's a girl too.

A lot of times on the SH model if the check engine light turns on the ATTS will shut down by default & the light will turn on. You want to find out specifically what code the engine is throwing, it could be any one of a hundred different things.

Some searching should bring up information on how to check what code it is - or any mechanic, dealer, or parts store can check it for you.

ATTS stands for Active Torque Transfer System and it mimics a limited slip differential. It was available on the SH model only.

Do a search and you'll find plenty of info on it.
