Drivers Low Beam Headlight Won't Turn on Please Help
alright both my passenger high and low beams both work. However on the drivers side only the high works. I tested the ground and the red with yellow strip wire together with a circuit tester. The test came out negative. I also checked the fuses. I checked both 20 amp fuses in the fusebox under the hood for both headlights and they were good. The black wire doesn't seem to be a working ground also because i tested that with another light. Help me out this has frustrating me for hours.
I apologize if this question insults your intelligence - but have you tried a new bulb?
And what about the ceramic bulb-holder thingy?
And what about the ceramic bulb-holder thingy?
I have a VERY similar problem, except only my passenger side comes on for Hi-Beam on my beater Prelude. Please let me know if you find a solution.
Did any of you with these headlight problems hapeen to install those blue HID wannabe light bulbs, you know, the blue tinted ones? My brother had a set in his 5th gen prelude of these so called "hyper white bulbs", within a couple of days his headlights were dead, all besides the passenger low beam. What happen was that those bulbs which are like 110Watts caused a wire in his electrical system to fry which in term caused his lights to die, all besides one that is. Well he hasn't fixed the problem because he decided to get actual HID's so he no longer needs his headlight bulbs working.
Hows it going man. Just a seggestion run a wire from battery and test each wire then find which is bad. Maybe you just have a short in one of the wires. Once you got the wire narrowed down (hopefully its the ground). And if i remmember correct you got JDM headlights. Test out the wires and make sure you have lowbeams going to low and so on. Hope that helps ya out.
