need help with p28 ecu

need help with p28 ecu

I am really confused. The numbers on my ecu are 37820-p28-a51 which would mean an auto ecu correct? But when I look at the board it shows RP18 having a resistor and RP17 empty whcih would mean a manual ecu correct?

If the RP17 is removed and RP18 is jumped, then it will operate like a manual ecu.
