1st gear hard to engage
sometimes its hard for me to go to 1st when im parked in neutral, anybody know why? i gotta push it back n forth and couple of times for it to go in gear, the clutch stills grab pretty hard, no sign of slippin...maybe i need to change my tranny fluid?
Try replacing the tranny fluid. If that don't work then remove the tranny and inspect the clutch disc, flywheel and clutch pressure plate. If they all look ok then you could have tranny internal problems.

LoL.. what integra can always easily go into 1st? My '96 GS-R, my current '98 GS-R, my friend's '01 GS-R, my friends EG w/GS-R swap... all don't always go into first nicely.

it is normal for the integra's to do that in first and rev. gears i found out if u push out the cluth alittle more while going into first it slips in but it has not had the problem for a while ... but i hate it when it happends and im trying to put it in first and got to put it in 3rd and 4th and then first .. and someone behide me gives me a honk im like stfu bitch LOL
i dont have that problem WHILE im parked. now i definatly have that problem when im slightly moving. i have to come almost to a complete stop to be able to throw it into first.
I have a 91 LS and when I'm in neutral slowing down with the clutch in at about 14mph and below I easily slip into 1st gear...I had that same problem...now when I dont do that and I'm in neutral at a stop...its hard as hell to get into 1st, and I do get honked at sometimes, but now on I always go into 1st before I'm completely stopped. It gets to be a pain especially if u have a Stage II clutch cause' your calf hurts at the end of the day, but its all good, you'll get used to it. good luck with ur problem man.
Yeah its pretty normal for me for 1st gear and reverse sometimes. I think its just how it is...
(sometimes I have to make sure the clutch is ALL the way down or I have to let it out a little or half way, it all depends)

gotta put it in second then into first sometimes because it wont even get into gear
just the way teg trannys are since alot of people have the same problem

I think I have a freak tranny, because I can put my car into first gear even going 10mph..not saying that I do, but I have before (had to stop quickly.) But sometimes if it goes in what feels like half way in, if you just disengage the clutch a bit, and give it a lil gas, it normally slips right in for me...
