ebay has the c pillar bar in gunmetal, anyone has them? is it the same color as the oem itr trunk and lower tie bar???

 

not the same as the rear strut bar

but a decent product for the money

 

ok ill just get the polish then spray it matching, btw do you know if i can mount it on top of the seat belt and then screw everything in???

 

I hope you know you can't have any passangers in the rear with that...

Otherwise, people who have bought c-pillar bars claim to notice an increase in handling

 

i got one......didn't feel anything.....maybe cause i got a cage..

they utilize the same bolt as the one from your seat belts, it just goes right over it. No necessary drilling or anything, but I dont feel any handling increase from that bar, jus less chasis flex going up my driveway.

it uses all the same hardware except on mine the seat belts have a big fat spacer and i left that out on both side the the sides would be even

 

yeah the rear strut bar is a squarish polish metal. im talking the silverish trunk bar and the lower tie bar. has anyone bought the gunmetal one ebay? is it the same silver as the trunk and lower tie bar? anyways yeah i its just to reduce some chasis flex, mainly ppl say less tire screeching in the back during heavy turns

 

The bar it cool looking, I got it off ebay. I dont really feel much but it looks cool cuzz not alot of tegs have those yet. The color is gunmetal, but for $40 thats a deal. I have a pick if i find it i'll post it.

I did exactly the same thing on mine cuz it didnt fit with both of the spacers.

 

just saw its not the same, the its gunmetal/bronzish, the itr trunk and lower tie bar is silverish. it does make a difference, maybe not the ebay one, but the other thicker ones, or else, why would japanese tuners use it...maybe this is the economical route for ppl that want the roll cage effect???
