any possible way for aem intake to be used together with turbo
im just wondering about getting i/h/e and keeping them after turboing
im sure the Headers will not work , and i know u can keep the Exhaust , just that its restrictive
but is there any way u can fit a short ram intake or a cold air intake under the hood instead of just a K&n filter for the turbo ??? i know it seems hard but does anyone know if there is a way? it seems like my short ram will go to waste especially since i want to turbo now

Sorry to say
Research more on turbo bro... You need a lot of studying before getting into turbo... One thing... you dont use a header cause its less restrictive... You don't use one because you can't with turbo... You would need a turbo exhaust manifold... Second... no short ram... And exhuast.. you would probably want to go with 3" piping. Turbo doesnt like back pressure. You need to research a lot more bro...

yea i knew about the header = exhaust manifold thing but i was just wondering if there was any way to fit the large piping of the intake in there

In where? As the turbo piping? You need turbo pipiing for turbo bro.. cant go cheap for turbo man...

u know how the k&n filter is supposed to connect to where the blue arrow says intake , i was just wondering if there is any possible way to fit an intake (including the piping) to get it the filter farther away from the hot engine

it doesnt matter much about hot air being sucked in because its gonna go through an intercooler anyways, so dont worry about that so much
Many people use their cold air intake for custom intercooler piping. it's nice because you need the same pipe for intercoolerpiping that goes to the throttle body anyway.
the problem w/ using a CAI for your throttle body piping is that most of them are aluminum and you can't weld a steel BOV flange to aluminum.
you might be able to use PART of your SRI to relocate the air filter to under the battery tray but you'll have to cut it to fit right
