Default 3rd gear trouble

I just put a new clutch & flywheel in my car (2000 SH) . Before that when i would shiff into 3rd at high rpms it would grind a bit &only some times.
So when i install the new clutch & flywheel & i put good tranny oil in i though that that might help. But now it's worst
What could it be ??

It could be that the gear synchros are going out. If i am correct then soon it will pop out of third. you get the synchros replaced before you mess up the gears

what kind of fluid did you put in?

grinding gears can be masked for a little while by good MTF, honda MTF is great stuff, and GM syncro mesh and redline MTF are even better. but if you have a 3rd gear grinding problem and ONLY 3rd then most likely you syncro is on its way out.

Mine does the same exact thing with the same gear. Would it be cheaper to buy a whole new tranny or get it rebuilt?
