Default How to identify a gsr tranny

I recently got a gsr tranny and the bar code and numbers are gone so i need some help to see if it really is a gsr im just makin sure i didn't get ripped off

there was a really good write up on here a while ago on how to identify a tranny from the gears. basically you have to take the housing off and then count the top gear teeth from the counter shaft and the main shaft. and then you divide the two numbers and it will give you a 5th gear ratio. then you look at what tranny has the same gear ratio as the one you came up with.
