noises from my wheel
normally i would think it is my brake pads, but the noise is occurring even when i'm not braking. it is a high pitch squeeling noise like when the brake pads wear down. the noise is coming from my front driver side wheel. could my rotor or something be rubbing? i checked, and visually everything looks okay. it happens usually when i make a turn, and then drive straight and that's when the noise comes around and usually dies out. either that, or when i'm driving along a curvy road. need some expert help please.
btw, the car is my accord v6 stock with only 18K miles.

yea, ur break pads are worn out..the same thing happened to me, randomly i would hear the most annoying scraping sound in the world...it was embarrassing goin to hot import nite wit that sound
You also might have a rock stuck between the rotor and the shield. I see it more often on civics but last week I had an Accord with a chunk of pvc pipe wedged in the brakes. Either way you need to inspect your brakes.

Possible problem with the wheel bearing too. But I agree that you should get your brakes inspected. The wear indicator is just doin it's job, lettin you know that you need new brake pads?

correct. there are 2 stages. when your brakes are in pretty bad shape, they only squeel when braking. then when the brakes are almost gone, they will squeel at all times.
btw before looking at the brakes, try pulling at the shield behind the rotor to make sure there is gap b/w the rotor and shield.

hence, the use of the word 'normally'
sometimes you might hear clicking noises at the early stages when applying lateral load

my accord does that...its the brakes rubbing against the rotors just a tad at points. its nothing to worry about, just annoying. you can get rid of it with grease (forgot how). our brake/suspension/front end specialist inspected mine for me. so i know im right
