Default Skunk2 @ Irwindale Raceway

Passed by Irwindale Raceway today & saw the Skunk2 transporter @ the drag strip. I assume they were testing the RSX. Anyone hear about the testing today? Sorry no photos...

They did run the car trying to shake it down. Other problems have come about but will soon be fixed. They said the motor is strong just some problems with mounts etc.

I was there for the drift session and peeked at the Skunk car for a bit. Sounds mean. They were doin short passes as someone mentioned. I saw the car hit a 8.6@50ish after letting off halfway down the track just coasting it.

for those who dont know irwindale is 1/8th mile.
