Default Intercooler on all motor?

Dont flame too bad but i was just thinking of stupid stuff and was wondering if possible so i decided to post it turbo cars have intercooler why not put a intercooler on a all motor setup to cool the air better like a cold air intake but accross the from to a intercooler and and then up into engine bay as muffler it would look rice as hell but would there be any gains as far as air being more dense or should i just stop thinking bout stupid **** ASAP?? lol

the intercooler would restrict the air flow so much that it would actually make your car slower. not wurth it. in turbo applications air is getting forced through. so its more efficiant.

You can't cool air with air that is already the same tempurature as it would be with an intake placed outside the warm constraints of the engine bay.

If it were a track only car and you were going to spray the intercooler with CO2 or Nitrous then there me some benafit but I don't think it would be worth the effort.

lol thats some funny stuff. when i was setting up my turbo kit i installed the intercooler first with all the piping to make sure it fit,and it,but i dint wanna go through the hassle of taking it off and then putting it back on, so i just left it in there for a week until i finally put the turbo together, car felt the same if not slow at some points mainly cause of the longggggggggggg way the air has to travel.

also as stated above its basically the same temperature, turbo cars gains hp out of it cause the air the turbo throws out is pretty hot so the intercooler helps in cooling it down.

next best stupid thing i can think of is a watercooler intake piping, yamaha wave runners have them and almost seems like it would be a nice short ram, get a inline pump and like a oil cooler or sumthing and it would be cool, its jsut heavy
