EXPO - Co-driver wanted, driving from Nor Cal and back...
It appears that the co-driver that I had lined up has backed out due to the change in the dates. I was wondering if anyone wanted to co-drive out to the EXPO with me. I'll be on a pretty lenient time schedule since I have the week before and after the EXPO off, so I wont be in much of a hurry to get out there unless I need to be.
Leaving from Northern California(Bay Area), co-driver just needs to split gas and hotel money. Anyone interested?
The car is a 2001 itr with AC, however the driver's seat is a Sparco EVO2(not bad for long trips, I've done 6+ hours without an issue) and my latest highway gas mileage was 27.46mpg at an average of 80-85mph with a JDM final drive. I'll be installing an MP3/CD head unit in the car for the trip, and also have an AC/DC adapter to plug the laptop in for any DVD movie that the passenger would like to watch.
Austin - wondering if anyone wants to make the trip...

Sorry, I won't be co-driving with you.
But, wanted to point out that the route shown by mapquest doesn't seem like the fastest way. Maybe you've driven through the rockies before and know the route, but it seems to me that it would be much easier drive to go through NV->AZ->NM then head up NE to PA. Just a thought.

Yes...I am, but I don't want to make the drive by myself...long drives alone suck
I fear that if I don't have a co-driver I will opt out of attending this expo, which would allow me to do a couple of track days here in CA around that same time.

You'll be passing right through Salt Lake. The drive up Parley Caynon (I-80) will be fun for you, but after that and you hit the plains, good luck that part of the drive sucks! You should talk to DsR, I bet if he could get some time off he would be all over this.
