Type R's in CSP?
What are your mods if you are running in CSP?

And as for the mods I had when I ran 2 weeks ago in CSP; Comptech icebox, and Spoon 4-2-1 header.
CSP is a VERY competitive class and after running in it in my car with my limited knowledge and lack of mods I wish I had stayed Gstock longer.
This coming Sunday however I am running in SM so a buddy can share my car and compete against another friend. Should be interesting. The only new stuff I'll be running is Te-37's with Hoosier R rubber, and hopefully my new OMP pedals if they get here by Saturday.

PS Oh, yeah check the link for the guidelines though...

Noone's prepped an R to the limits of the rules in CSP. Even those who have in SM (which allow much greater flexibility) have had no luck at beating the CSP cars. A well driven SM car with suspesion, I/H/E, larger wheels, 225W R compound tires would be very lucky to be within 2 seconds of a nationally prepped CSP on a 50 second course. The CRX's are just that fast!!!
I know the rules, just want to know what mods you have done if you are running in CSP. How do your times compare to CRX, etc.?
I've got a comptech icebox and the JDM RSTB, and kumho V700s...on occasion i've beaten our two local killer CRXs, one of which is a former national champion car, the other of which was tuned by Grassroots Motorsports about a year ago. other times they wax me...it's harder to catch them on the concrete lot we race on than it is on the asphalt, probably due to the Autocrosser hoosier bias-plys. I like the challenge of going after them...although GS is sometimes just as fast (especially when shamun comes). one of our clubs does not allow R tires in stock classes, so i went CSP to run R tires in the same class year round (and because i wanted that intake and the RSTB)
