Default hx wheels on 95 civic ex with 4 disc breaks

so we tried to put them on my friends car and found that his breaks were to big and would not let the car even move. i searched and found that he could maybe use some spacers or he could just trim the break shoe some, anyone have a picture of how much they trimed off the break to get the wheels to fit or any spacers they used and what size and where to get them, help a brotha out. thanx

I think you need to shave about 1/8th of an inch off the bracket. Sorry I have no pictures.

I wouldn't recommend the spacers, as they can cause lugs to be mis-torqued, and then the wheel flies off on corner 3 and almost hits me in the stomach.

Torque them with a torque wrench with the car off the ground.

If you do end up getting spacers, I would highly recemmend(sp?) longer wheels studs. I've got spacers with my HXs and there are like 4 threads holding them on. I take all my turns < 25 because of that.

Call any wheel place, 3mm spacers is all you need and they are like $15.
