ok... so im woken up this morning around 4:30 AM by my dad shaking me saying "do you know where your car is?" Right then my heart sank, i ran downstairs to see a police officer in the doorway. My car was stolen from me while i was sleeping..... I was freaking out cuz i thought it was over for my car. Apparently after the theives stripped my car of it's ITR spoiler, short ram, and Rota C8's a police patrol car saw it coming out a a business district and thought it suspicious. They pulled over the car and questioned them when they saw "my" rims and spoiler in the back of their car. They confessed to stealing them and told them where the car was and were arrested. So i go down to the impound expecting the worst..... The only things they got away scott free with was my spare tire, wheel lock key, shift boot, and my damn cologne!! The rims and spoiler have minor scrathes and the short ram was just removed without damage. I consider myself terribly lucky and thank the cops for being in the right place at the right time to caught them fuktards and im soooooooooo glad they got arrested. Now im gonna press charges on those bitches sooo bad and sue the sit outta them. Now that i look back im glad that the police told me the car was stolen before i found out myself.... no sign of them gettin in the car tho... alarm didnt go off... but the ignition was torn to hell. I think the theives thought my car had a whole bunch more **** on it than it really was, outside it looks super clean but the engine is just a teeny weeny LS stock motor, but i thank god for the recovery. I guess its score one for me and luck musta been on my side.

Congrats on getting the car back, did you have any other forms of security? Club? etc?

 

actually, no it's a clifford allarm with an imobilizer but i guess them theives do what the hell they want... what was really crazy was when i was talking to the guy at the impound he says he usually gets around 10 stripped imports a weekend...

and i still have to wait for the insurance adjuster to actually get the car back and get a new ignition, they said they might need to hold my rims for evidence, but once i get it back im gonna get more security to it.... i know if a theif wants it he will get it.... but i want it make it somewhat hard for them... hopefully enough time to catch em myself if it happens again

what pisses me off tho is the cop said they might jess get a slap on the wrist... i mean what the hell is that!?!?! he said it might be charged as "joyriding"... **** that it needs to be grand theft auto and imma gonna take there asses to court and hope it happens.

Is there a way to have the authorities raid those thieves houses for other stolen parts, if so you might be able to press charges on these fools. Least you know who those fockers are unlike most of us

 

take the money you get form suin them and use it for a motor swap, then pay some inmates to ***-rape the ***** *******, then write them a letter telling them how you are happy they stole ur **** b/c now u got somethin better

most of us can't afford parts either, thieves just needa get off their lazy asses n save up just like everybody else.

 

the cops told me the same thing... they said i can sue, but then they may not have no money cuz its all froms tealing ..... n e wayz imma try my hardest, get every penny i can from a thief.... why cant it be like those 3rd world countries..... take a limb from them for stealing!!!!

i live in Rancho Bernardo area too man. does he know who tried to do it?? The guys that got mine were hispanic, thats all i got from the cops so far... i got the names too but i dunno if ill put em out yet.
