Trunk space on 03' & 04' F4i

Hey guys. New to the site.
I was planning on purchasing either a 2003 or 2004 F4i in the next month. I wanted to know if a chain would fit in the trunk of either one. Do you gain or lose trunk space with the new banana seat on the 04' compared to the 03' dual seats?

I need to be able to fit a security chain in there. I used to have a 2001 929 & was able to fit a 6' Abus chain/lock in the trunk.

Any info from F4i owners would be appreciated.

it might be tough. I know i have hardly any room in my 02 trunk.

 

The trunk is approx the same size as your 929 trunk... its gonna be tight.

Any 04' Banana seat owners out there that can give me an idea how big the trunk is? Will a 6' chain fit in there?
