Default Horsepower on your 92-95 civic EX

Was wondering if any of yall had headers, intake, exhaust, test pipe or high flow cat, AEM pulleys, AEM cam gears, and/or a skunk2 manifold? If you have any of these, hopefully all or close to it was wondering what kind of horsepower I could get on my 94 civic ex with all of these upgrades.

sorry but i gotta say do a search cause a lot of people have posted about their dyno runs...

search 'dyno' in the recent and archives
search 'd16z6' in recent and archives

but it seems that its is around the 120 - 110 range on horsepower

instead of the high flow cat get a test pipe.

and you prolly only would get 14 HP with those mods

I wish single cam was easy to pull out 14 horses like that.

Get some boost.

here is my dyno graph

relavent power mods are...cai/integra throttle body/4-2-1header/apex ws catback/hondata intake gasket/head milled .02inch/3angle valvejob.

motor has 143,000 on it.

to make your car as fast as an si, you will need all the bolt ons, some weight redux, cam and gear, ecu tinkering, probably lighter flywheel...and at that you still *might* get pulled on in 4th gear. boost on the other hand will have you walking lightly modded si's quite alot

With just a short ram, LS TB, port matched IM, gutted cat and a N1 catback I pulled 119.8hp and 104.5 tq to the wheels

so 93 MR EJ1 what exactly have you done to your car and how much it all costs(seperatly), because that is about where I would like to be running in the summer, Thats pretty respectable i think for a single cam with no boost...

i know its not a z6, but i have a d15b vtec, and i also have a buddy with a 99 si with bolt ons, and i pull him all the way to 100. i have a 92 dx with short ram intake, gutted cat, straight through muffler, and oem exhaust piping, and partialy gutted interior. i know im not showing any dyno figures, but real world experience i think is as good. i know the d15b and the z6 are very comparable.

Boost!!! SImple!! I have d16z6 boosted to only 6psi with hondata, tuned!! I made 168whp. The only reason I boosted to only 6psi....CRACKED HEAD, and that HP was only to 6800rpms. Ha.....BOOST BOOST!

mr. teal... i know i should have a lil more power. it was runnin a lil rich when i was on the dyno(black smoke y0!), im running 2 step colder plugs in an n/a application which prolly isnt helping, and all in all the motor has seen its fair share of beatin (it was my pizza car, i put 40,000 miles on it last year). i actually put it back together a few days b4 the dyno, so i was happy it dont blow up
