H22 Most Hp header
From what ive been reading the Imagine Engineering has the most HP over them all? and hot shot comes in around second place? whats the real story with these h22 headers.... which one i dont care price will give me the most HP
Well this topic seems to come up more and more but IMO best bang for the buck would have to be pro speed and Header tech from what i have seen. If your a baller and willing to go all out SMSP is always the first option but thats to say if you got money. The first headers mentioned go for about 600bucks each, while the SMSP goes for about double that.

$950 was the last that I heard, and a local friend with a 2.3L, ~11.5:1(claimed by him) type-s pistons, type-s head, crower cams, Hondata tuned on 91 octane made 228/178 while everything was designed for midrange power.

I don't think Dave still has the photos up, but he'd probably email you some if you asked (though I'm not certain about that). Either way, try giving him a call or an email, and I'm sure he can help you out.

Not sure, a nice header test would put everything in order. Im sure it would make some power over it, the design is just somewhat better over the prospeed one. But this is just my ideas. I could be tottally wrong.
I might be dynoing the SMSP against the Hytech sometime in the next couple of months. A good friend of mine has the SMSP (5) H22 Header and a few in my area are running the Hytech header. Ive always been a huge SMSP supporter but at this point in myy life Im all about making power with my project. I dont need to stay PC in this industry any longer.
If Hytech proves to be the better header, than its Hytech I will run...
If SMSP proves to be the better header than its SMSP...
This will be an independednt test, Ill most likely have it done by hookups to keep it unbiased...
Ill aslo try and get more than one car/set up to dyno it on...
This wont be for a few months, I havent even startd my project yet... Buying a house, moving, changing jobs... All that eats at your time

Just to make this perfectly clear... It wont be something that happens anytime soon... I would say a safe bet is 3-4 months. But, if its something that is still really in demand by then I will make it a point to get it done...

Just wonderin, are you gonna do a base line comparison with any other headers, like greddy,Hotshot,or maybe even the dc one??And just what is gonna be done to this motor??Bone stock?Or minor bolt ons?cams?block work?Im lookin forward to this, this should be interesting.

Ok,the only bad response i have ever heard from a hotshot. But a dyno comparidon would still be nice.

Not all motors are built the same.No two h22a's are gonna be alike. What will suck on one motor might work better on another motor.Just depends on the combination.

I got my SMSP header yesterday. We'll run it to a 2.5" resonator and as much straight 2.5" piping that we can fit(about 3-4 ft.) I'll probably end up running against a buddy's 14.3 sec B16(i/e) hatch just to see what improvement was made over stock. We should be heading down to VSV to get the Hondata tuned in a couple weeks. I'll post them when I get the tuning done.

On a chipped P13.
I also have a friend who lowered his 1/4 time .5 sec after going to the AN-R Header.
