last week my friend and i swapped in a B16 into my 90 EF hatch. The car was running good and healthy for the last week. Now its throwing an engine code, and at idle the oil light comes on, and Vtec doesnt work anymore. I swear my car is cursed, has anyone else experienced this problem before. please help. i think its code 22

 

i know code 22 is Vtec oil pressure switch. My friend has one of those lying around anyways, but if this switch is bad could that be the cause of my oil light or should i change the pump too and inspect the screen? please help

 

did you check your oil level? any dents in the pan?

 

oil pan is fine. oil level is just over full mark.
