Default throttle body problems in my h22 hatchback swap

the only problem i have is that the throttle body sits realy close to the fire wall. when i was coming home from hot import nights i raced a couple of cars.. in the process of down shifting to fourth my tps sensor bounced of the fire wall and snapped.. i have been looking all over for the peice and the only place i can find it is at the dealer and they want 600 for it.. if anybody has a throttle body and tps sensor for a 94 h22 and wants to sell it let my know

I've been through this many times....Go to a junk yard and get a one off of an old accord or civic, but make sure the one you get looks exactly like yours. You'll have to buy the TB and take it home and dremel the screws to get the TPS off the TB...

when they put my motor in they had to cut the front cross member out to accommodate for my headers. so i put in polyurethane mounts to get rid of some of the rocking. if you have any tips to help out let me know cause im sending the motor to the shop to get it fully built for nos application.

Maybe you could try motor mount inserts?

they're not polyurethane? which mounts are you using?

you're engine is deffinately moving too much or isn't lined up correctly. i have about two inches between the firewall and my tb and the engine doesn't move at all. hasport.

well first off the reason you broke it while shifting it happen to me there is a stud with a nut on the fire wall holding proportioning valve on just trip the tip off that andput new TPS sensor on from almost any honda/acura and you wont have that problem anymore it happen to me too and i use HCP mounts it was like a half inch from the stud and broke it so i just trimmed down and never had that problem

Well hell that should be easy, so I just cut a slot in the bolt and unscrew it. And just screw it back through the new sensor?¿?
