Default WTB: B18C/B18B/B20 motor. Have H22 for trade/sale. So Cali only pls.

Just like the title says.
I bought a Del Sol a couple of days ago, and it needs a motor. I have a 94 H22A1 motor from my prelude, but it looks like i will not be able to use because i need a motor same year as my car or newer in order to get it registered. The car is a 95.

So i need a 95-up motor. I'd like to get a B18C(1) GSR motor, or maybe even a B18B LS. B20 is also fine. I just need something to get it up and running, and to get it smogged and stuff.

If you're interested in a trade for my H22A1, maybe we could work something out...

Please let me know what you got. I'm in So.Cali and would prefer a local seller as well.

Thanks.

you can't put a b20 in.

b20 are not considered a "proper" motor for your chassis.

b20's are "truck" motors.

thus, b20's aren't legal.

Hm... Didn't know that... Thanks for the info
Is H22 out of the question as well since I wouldn't be able to use OEM Honda motor mounts?

I think so.

eg/dc based chassis are meant for only d/b series motor.. excluding b20.

so your choices are b16, b18.

Contact me through PM.. I can help you w/ your smog situation.

Thanks a lot man...
I guess I have to look for a clean B series motor now.
btw, why is the B20 motor a "truck" motor? I mean, I know it's from an CR-V, but B20's also came in Preludes (88-91). From my understanding the CRV B20 is based on the same motor.
Well anyway, thanks for the input and I'll IM you when it's time for smog.
