Default Question on Buddy Club Spec Dampers

Did the BC Racing Spec Dampers come with the upper pillow mount? And did they every come without it?

Rob at Robear is selling me them and is charging me an extra $50 bucks for it.

Depends on what he's charging you alltogether.
Normally I understang they come with the upper mount all put together when you take then out of the box.

Are the ones you're getting new or used?

Rob is giving me a great deal on the coilovers, so if he quoted me the wrong price orignally i would have understand and would have paided the extra $50 bucks for them.

It's not really about the $50 bucks but more of his integrity and if i would do future transactions with him and recommend him to others.

*He explained to me that the one he received has them already in dere*

Dat is also why i wonder if dere was EVER a set where they didn't have them.

taken from this link: http://www.aj-racing.com/BC-suspension.html

The Racing Spec Damper is ideal for the enthusiast who needs a street/track coilover with an emphasis on track performance. Racing Spec Dampers feature:

- adjustable stroke, to adjust ride height

without sacrificing suspension travel

- pillowball uppermount with aluminum

top hat

- adjustable spring perch

- 15 way adjustable damper with 46mm piston

- chromium plated steel body for high rigidity

and strength and weather resistance

The result is ultra smooth damping performance, providing a balance of comfortable street driving as well as superior track performance.

If you don't want to spend the extra cash, then don't. You can run the BC's without the the pillow ball mounts. They work with your OEM spring caps without any modifications whatsoever, I just finished installing mine without them and they work fine.

well i got a reply back from Rob at Robear Racing and that they did have had them with and without and also from what others have post as well. I'm Happy that the coilovers are on the way and $50 its a Big Deal, it was more about integrity which was a deciding factor on my future business transaction and recommendations to Robear Racing.
