I got a great Idea!
Ok, I was sitting here looking at my civic and thought of a cool idea to set it apart from other civics. I have a vtec light which engages when I hit vtec. So, I take a loonger wire from the ECU and run it to under the hood where there's 2 long neon tubes under the hood by both sides of the hood just under it.
The tubes would be red and would turn on when in vtec. Wouldn't that look awesome if your engine glowed red from under the hood? It's this type of stuff that wins shows, so someone needs to do it

The vtec doesn't engage when the car is sitting still buddy, second of all it would be the gayest thing ever. I'm sorry but the rice section of the forum is still under construction.
No, you couldn't do it sitting still but going down the road it would look cool. I had another idea with my bov. There must be some way to route a hose off the end of the greddy type s and then drill a hole through your hood so a little hatch would open like a semi's does when it vents.
little flap that opens with the bov = the win

YEAHHHHHHHHHHHH! thats sounds like a good idea. here is the instructions to do it. OOOOOKKKKKKKKAYYYYYYYY.
1. Pop your hood.
2. splice the vtec wiring into 2
3. take a lead from the splice and put it to a Blasting cap. make sure its the positive side.
4. Take the other wiring from the cap and ground it.
5. now when you hit vtec you'll go out with a huge bang
