Default Results from a day of tuning w/ Yack @ P1 (awesomeness inside)...

Went to P1 today to have my timing belt & water pump changed and have Yack work a bit of his tuning magic.

First my setup:
- 00 ITR w/ 70k miles
- Kenji chipped P28
- JDM Mugen 4-1
- T1R testpipe & catback
- J's Intake
- Apex'i VAFC

As always Jack did a great job changing the parts on my car. Now Jack was only tuning w/ my VAFC and gained me 6 peak hp at the wheels, I was very happy w/ this number. He said he could probably get my mpg up a little, sounds good to me I'd been getting 24-28mpg (ECU runs rich) and was hoping for 31-32 mpg on the way home (mostly interstate driving). I had about 50 miles on the tank when I got to P1 and then my dyno runs were done on this tank. I'm driving home and noticing my needle isn't moving down as fast as normal, it's staying up forever! I was doing about 75-85 mph most of the way. Also the car feels great, acceleration & on/off throttle are really smooth. When I finally needed to fill up there were 382.9 miles on my tank, filling it up took 9.678 gallons. Wait a second, I just got 39.56 mpg on this tank 40 mpg on a C5 Thanks P1, more power and more mpg!

I'll try to post my dyno & AF plots tomorrow

Cliff Notes: Tuning by Yack gets me 6 peak hp and 39.56 mpg on my way home!

http://www.p1auto.com It's worth the trip Thanks Jack & P1, I'm thrilled w/ the results.

Yack's "driveway tune" on my Toda B setup was good for 32-34mpg. I don't think I made much up top, but that big fat B midrange was

Idle = near stock. Just a subtle gurgle to let you know something was afoot.

Think I started out w/ 151.x and ended w/ 157.x. I appears my JDM Mugen 4-1 makes less power than my JDM DC 4-1 did. Well from 7400-8100 the Mugen crushes the DC but from 4000-7000 I lost power Still I was pretty happy w/ the numbers and the car feels way better than before

Remember everyone, this was on a Mustang dyno

I just wish you americans would stop complaining about high gas prices, compared to what i have to pay you have nothing to bitch about. Prices for a gal of 98 (equal to your 94) is 5.9$ around here

But anyways, good results

I guess I got the HP tune over the MPG tune.

But I'm also a very satisfied P1/Yack customer.
