Default 8valve to 16 valve hybrid

I went straight to DOHC's when I started racing honda's so I asked some questions on here when I played with a SOHC setup. I wanted to know if you could put a CRX SI head onto HF block without piston to valve problems. A bunch of people said no. Some said yes. So I put it together and clayed it. Plenty of clearance. Put it back together, crossed my fingers and started it up. Runs like a champ!!!!! Maybe not as much low end torque as the regular CRX SI motor but the top end pulls just as hard if not harder. I established base line runs at the track and will post up times as soon as I run with the new setup. Enough with the slow daily driver's. Now back to work on the race car.
