Default Benen Strut Bar in EK

Anyone have a Benen front upper Strut bar installed in their EK? How was installation (drilling holes)? How do you like it? Does it make noise on turns?
Thanks

i have that bar and love it!
actually, ken of benen industries drilled and put the bar on for me (i felt so special!). it was a snap, he put on the bar and took and pen and marked where the holes would be. he drilled the holes and then just lined everything up and it was on. as far as noises, nope, i don't have any.

I have the upper tripod on my car and I love it! I had to drill my own holes but it wasnt too hard. All I needed was a pen to mark the center of the holes. Just remember if and when you install to keep the nuts on top or the bolts will rip right off..from what I heard atleast

I also think that EX's have pre drilled holes. As for the firewall, there are two black tabs that you can take out to show the holes, the mounting bolts that come with the bar should be fine for the firewall.

The bolt doesnt hit on the upper control arm on mine. BTW here are some pics if you're wondering how it should look.

Yeah it says "Benen Industries" on it. At HIN in San Mateo last month I saw a polished one on a Civic with all Benen Bars! Bling Blao! Thanks btw.

Yeah according to their website they dont have applications for 96+ Civics. The guy I bought it off of knew someone at Benen and he told me it was a limited edition bar but I dont know. I think you should call or email them for application questions.

On that inner fender brace, are you meaning the one where you removed the out fender panel and then bolt this upside-down L-shaped thing on? I think I've seen one before. Anyone got one of these fender braces? Impressions?
