WTF? What is this mod chip for?

 

I think its for the air box..i read about them..supposedly like makes your car gain power by tricking the MAF sensor or something...pretty lame

its true its just a resistor that trick ur intake air temp sender aka iat

what it does is it tricks your IAT sensor into thinking that it's colder outside than it really is so it makes you run richer. there might be a little gain in really hot temp but it'll ruin your cat in no time. don't put it on your car. get your money back and buy a six pack, that'll be money better spent

for a project in auto, we dynoed by buddy's stang with and without it...no consistant hp gains, and it can't be great for your car
