vaccuum canister
hey just curious but what does that vaccuum canister below the intake manifold do, and where do the vaccuum lines go. also does anybody know where i could get one, thanks

The canister holds vaccuum and opens/closes the seccondaries. If you have an h22or h23 you will need it for it to work or you will lose low end torque. (numbers 12/13 higlighted in blue)
Last time I checked andyd had one for sale, like 70 bucks I think, as apposed to honda who wants like 150ish for all(including the solenoid). I already have this pic uploaded so sorry that it isn't resized.

thanks alot man, its an h22 and i just got it running but the nipple was broken off the one and the same thing on my h23
btw turns out that i have to do the timing belt again and i noticed that you will scan stuff, if you would not mind putting the directions for changing the timing belt on an h22 up i would appreciate it, the reason i am doing it is i think i messed something up the first time and the timing belt slid off the cams
