B20 Swap into a Del Sol is just as easy as any B Series swap into a Sol. The 94 Del Sol Vtec comes stock with a b16. All the stock mounts in the car will work except for the back trans bracket, and depending on the year of the car, the driver side upper mount bracket that bolts to the motor will need to be changed. You'll need integra axles both sides. The stock ac bracket will work and the stock torque mount will work. If you know anybody who has put a b series swap into an EG civic, just talk to them because you would have to do the exact same thing. Also while your at it I would try and find a b series Vtec head and slap it on because your car will extremly reck everyones day that tried to race you. Have fun and good luck with your swap.
I also forgot to mention that even if you get a obd II crv motor, it doesn't matter because you just use the motor harness off of the d16 and put it to all sensors on the b20. Then all you need is a 94-95 integra ls or gsr, or an american del sol vtec b16 computer, or a jdm sir II b16 computer. might sound complicated but very very easy.
why would you want to use a vtec computer on a non vtec motor? wouldnt you then throw codes for vtec solenoid and so on. just stick with an ls ecu or dx.
do you have experience with a b20 using an ls ecu? because i have 2 friends both with b20's using ls ecus and running excellent. the one has a eg dx coupe with intake and exhaust and ran 14.4. the other has a b20 in a 97 cx with intake and exhaust running 14.6, and that was with ls trannies. so i dont understand where you get your info from.
