Ok I want to get a better 60ft than my 2.4's. I was wondering if I should lift my rear suspension adjusting my coil overs all the way up making the rear end stiffer and putting more weight in the front. The 2.4's are with 205-50-15 Kumho 711's on GSR Blades...should I keep trying with these or maybe switch to some 13's I have laying around smaller stock tires(running low psi in them)? Wouldnt the 13's also maybe help lower my over all times running a basic boltons D16z6? TIA.
the transfer of weight to the front will help a bit, but the rear suspension is still going to adbsorb most of the transfer to the back since its still the stock springs. you should get some stiffer springs for the rear for track use to really get some better 60ft times.
we did this on several of our cars and customer cars and 60fts are 1.9 to 2.0 on most of them on regular bridgestone tires. not bad for a simple drag setup.

I agree with Wil. Get some stiffer springs and it will help. Stock springs will just bounce causing wheel hop and loss of traction. Coilovers or just springs will be better than stock.
Also check out OMNI-POWER coilovers. for $699 you can't go wrong. 1 piece coilover! PM me for more info!
if you want to go a step further, contact Wil at Exospeed for some slicks

Ok thanks guys. My coil overs are Tech 5's...so if I adjust the rears all the way up compressing them quite a bit, that makes the rear end alot stiffer. Wouldnt that help? Also out of the two rims and tires listed above, which would be better for 60ft and the 1320??? Back in my younger days when I used to drag every weekend at Palmdale, I'd run small MT slicks. 20 passes on them with 7000 rpm launches ruined my tranny after a while.

you need to add more rate to the rear, not just adjust the shock to full stiff.
