how long would it take 1 year old uncompressed ITR springs to settle on an integra again???
hey guys i am putting my car back to stock but my stock GS springs where uncompressed for over a year and a half before i put them back on now my ******* ride sits bulldog style my front end springs have settled ok but my back end is sticking up to where i can put my shoe between the wheel and the body of the car, i figured if i get a set of ITR springs that would do but the ITR springs i might get have been uncompressed for a year (or so the guy says) anyways, how long would it take 1 year old uncompressed ITR springs to settle on an integra, and also i did recheck my springs install and the proper springs where put in the right place i dont want to wait for ******* ever before my springs settle, and at the rate its going it doesnt look like they will settle much more at all!!! so please help me guys!??!?!?!??!
no one knows? i have used the "search" option but have not found a topic question like this.....help me you guys!!!!!!!!!!
why don't you just keep the stock ones on and let them deal w/ it when you return it? or just pile in a few extra fat people and have them stay there for a while
well my car is a lease and it is up december of next year, i figured id get a jump on putting my car back to stock, im still deciding on waht to do with it (return it to dealer, or try to get rid of it through private sale) anyways if i do end up returnign it to acura i cant return it looking the way it does, can u guys give me any more input, will the r springs really settle faster than my gs springs??? please i need more info help!!!!!!!!!
you have a year to go...it may not look the best, but it should settle w/in a month or so...it's not going to be any different w/ R springs...
but i put my springs (stock) back on my car like 2 months ago and they backs still havent settled wtf is going on!?!??!

After putting uncompressed aftermarket springs in a few cars including my ITR I've only had 1/4-1/2 inch settle at max. The settle period has been 1 week to a month so I think you have had all that you are going to get.
The non ITR Teg sits pretty high so I wonder if maybe your front end is sitting lower than it should be making the rear look high? Maybe you could compare your car to another similar one.

that is so weird i know that the stock springs have been installed correctly and ofcourse my front springs will settle faster becasue of the engine being in the front (more weight) but like i said earlier my back end is higher by 2 inches above what a normal non type r teg is at. i think the only way to really fix this problem, if you said my stock springs wont settle anymore is to by a back end set of srpings that are already compressed in the shocks, what do u guys think???
See https://honda-tech.com/zerothread?id=85461 for a solution.
lol thanks i replied on that post but basically minus the fat bitch thats what my car looks like except my back end is the one that is high and front end is low, just like the pic of the yellow mustang, well minus that fat white bitch
Not sure if it's possible.. but do you think the front and rear springs could have been swapped around? Just a thought.

buy 4, 50lb sand bags and put them in the trunk overnight,
do it for a week and see what happens.
lift the spare tire cover and put them directly over the spare tire.

no as stated before my springs have been put on correctly, initially when they were first put back on we did put the front springs in the back and the backs in the fornt and after realizing our mistake we coreected our self as far as the sand bags is concerned i am going to be doing that on saturday so we will see if that works
