Default Oil Pressure switch...Gauge/Light

Help,

I have the 95 h22a but no one seems to have the correct oil pressure switch that i need for it. I'm trying to avoid the dealer and there ridiculous prices.

My question is, would this be the one with the gaude, and if so..they are two parts listed for it...does anyone know what part # it is, or what is the correct name (i.e.-valve timing oil pressure switch")

ths for the quick response. That's what i thought also, would be the part, but it seems like my switch is "fatter" in size.

It's the jdm h22a which shouldn't make any difference in the oil switch i wouldn't think, but i'm stuck cause they keep telling me it's the part shown above. I may have to take it to the dealere to match it up or something...

the picture just isn't that acurate.. why do you have to replace that sensor. how did it break?

im positive thats the sensor though, pictured above, and the fact that its a jdm motor doesn't mater h22 oil presure is the same.

Not sure how the hell the switch broke. I just finished my swap and was running the car, then i notice i had a oil drip on the driveway, went to look, and behold it was the pressure switch.

Next question is: Is the oil pressure switch different from the valve timiimg oil pressure switch?

maybe try removing the presure switch , and clean the threads and use some hondabond or RTV on the threds or use some teflon tape, mine leaks alittle too.. but the teflon tape helpeed

and the vtec presure switch is seperate from the one on the back of the block. the vtec presure switch is up on the head, and senses if there is enough presure up at the HEAD
