Default Thinking about Parting mine out !!!

Ive been on the wall for a few months now . ive been thinking about parting out my 98EK for a bit now!! I'm wtill on the fence but the more and more i think about things. the more and more im loosing hope and love for stuff. Ie put about 16LARGE into my EK not including the cost of the car itself... I need too know what you all think??? I would post pics but my web space has been locked down !! Grrrrr !!! anyway all I can give are specs and parts !!!! Take a look and let me know !!! Thanks all !!!

1998 Civic DX Hatchback Black (USDM)
Rear Interior removed and rear wiper removed.
MODS:

Breaks:
GSR front and rear disk breaks
Brembo front slotted and drilled rotors
2001 SI Master Break Cylender

Suspension:
TEIN FELX Struts Set
Mugen Front Top Strut Bar
Mugen Rear Top Strut Bar
Spoon Rear Lower Tie Bar

Motor and Tranny:
B16B CTR motor and Tranny with about 15K on it

Interior:
2001 SI CLuster
Mugen Red Meter Under Visor
CTR Black & Red Shift Boot
Mugen Black Shift Handle

Exterior:
Vis CF hood (Less than 2 months old/ Only seen the light of day 6 times)
Sparco Red Hood Pins

Rims:
Mugen Black & Red RNRs with P70000s
Rota Black 16" Slips with ZEIX 205/45/17s i have 6 rims ones totaly broken. 5 are usable with ZIEX on them. 4 are good without marks the 5th has a few nicks on it from some guy backing into me!
Mugen Black Lug Nuts

New things I have but not installed:
New OEM Honda RED B series Valve cover
New Suspesion Tech Sway bars Front and Rear
Cusco Oil Catch Can

I have all the rest OEM stuff. the D series motor has about 76000 on it and the tranny. not too mention all the rest of the OEM honda stuff that came with my EK!!!

Anyway... Please let me know!!!!

i'm in the same boat man. not as much money tho. i've put about 6k into my car and everything just wants to break at the same time. motor blew. need a new front lca. sideskirt broke. bumper broke. more dents that i can even count. interior is all messed up. i'm just fixing everything and selling it. car is a PITA. just gonna buy a nice hatch and throw a type r and call it a day.

And im still tring to figure out should I part it out or not ???

Thats why i made this thread! if i was going to part it out. I would have made a thread in [Classifieds] and prices if or when i part my EK out.

Just a question. You say the Slips are 16" but you have the Ziex as 17's...?

nah but there was never a 2001 si
u picked the perfect year that honda didnt have it
they got it for 2000 and 2002+
maybe your cluster is the 2000 si
same as mine!

You are in a tight spot now because you'll never get the 16K back if you part it out. Although you mentioned how expensive it was, you never really said what the reason was. Do you owe money or something?

Funny, I'm trying to get to the point where you are. I don't intend to spend that much money, but I'm hoping for the same engine.
