sometimes slips in gear and not slips outta gear right? If so, sounds like the clutch needs replacing. I paid around $130 for all my discs/friction plates and it took around 45min to change out. If your getting it for a good price i'd say go for it

If it pops out of gear under acceleration than its may need a tranny rebuild. If the prive is very good and u are using it as a starter bike, id say pick it up either way if thats the problem.

you can't tell him not to buy it without giving him a reasonable reason why he should not...

If he can determine where the bike is from just by the picture, obviously he knows a little something about the dealer and the bike that we dont know.

CAD cycles is a very competant shop. Very good service. Very honest. Nothing in regards to the shop, rather I don't recommend that generation of zx6. It is a pig, without a particularly good engine. The frame is large, heavy and not all that rigid. And they aren't cheap enough to make it a competitive choice. IMO you can pick up a 98+ 6r for a couple hundred more and its a totally different bike. I also think that bike is ugly, but maybe I'm just vain.

I had that bike for about a week and sold it and got an F3. Best decision ever. That bike was very huge and heavy compared to the F3 and harder to lean a bit for a beginner.
