Intergra or ZC ECU?
I recently did a ZC swap. I want to know what ECU is better to have. I did some research and discovered that the ZC has a 7200 rpm redline. One of the major reasons that ZC's blow up is because many people confuse the Integra computers 7800rpm fuel cut off as a red line. Also I have heard of the problems of ZC's with integra computers running to rich. I'd appreciate any input on this topic.
Hey there, I did research on this topic before and I found that people say that the ZC ecu is the better of the two. However, these ECUs are extremely rare. Also, the ZC ecu has its top speed limited to 112mph.
I previously had a Si ecu. Now, I have the teg ecu and I can tell a significant difference. The teg ecu does run rich, but I've been leaning it out with my fuel pressure regulator.
So if you can find a ZC ecu, then you're good to go. But if you can't find one, then buy a 88-89 teg ecu for around $100 and you won't be disappointed.
Hope this helps! Later...
