What would be better in the in the long run, power to weight, hp, torque, and top speed. The 2001 2dr accord v6 with a supercharger or a 4 cylinder with a turbo.

supercharged v6 for torque and hp and more than likely reliablity too. the turbocharged 4 will get better gas mileage and properly tuned can be just as reliable as the supercharged v6 but will be less powerful (unless your plannin on boostin the hell outta it)

I4 with the turbo 5/spd, since all the sixth-gen AV6 trannies suck. Don't plan on bostin high with your 3K Comptech S/C.

Hm....sensing a lot of bias in here. I guess I will thrown in my bias comment. Boost the **** out of that F series. If you build it properly you will easily take down that supercharged V6 accord.

F series (I4) turbo or go for broke and buy an H22 and turbo it (but then again thats my answer to everything ). I guess if you keep that auto tranny in good shape and get an oil cooler for it then you should be pretty happy with a SC'd V6.

From my point of view I like getting hands on with most of the asspects of my car and that V6 engine bay is CRAMPPED. I just see the 4 banger as easiear to work with but thats just my two cents. Good luck with your choice.

The v6's trannies suck. Many members on v6p.net have had to replace there trannies multiple times. I think the I4 5-speed would be better. I wish I got that instead of the v6. Plus, with proper tuning, the 4-bangers can put out quite a bit with a turbo. Isn't there one member here with a white 6th gen sedan, wings west type-w kit, and volk GT-Ps putting down 281 whp? He's got his stuff tuned with Hondata right?
