I have a 94 DX

 

you dont have an EG anything. you have an EH
read your VIN # and see what you have.

 

really i thought 92-95 civic hatches were eg somethin so then what is an eg

Careful. He didn't say if it's a coupe/hatch/sedan. I have a 94DX coupe. EJ2.

We call them EGs cause we want to be JDM tyte y0!

But yea, 5th gen hatches are EH2 unless it's an Si then it's an EH3.
Coupes are EJ....something or other. Don't know because I don't own a coupe.

 

You were already told. Just look at the 4th, 5th and 6th digits of your VIN.

Actually, any car outside of the US market has the same chassis code as Japan. Here in Europe, Russia, Austrailia, etc... all have EG's for 5th gen hatchs.
